My Dad is a 58 year old stroke survivor (5 months ago)...very scary, but he is fine now with minimal effects.
My hugs and prayers go out to you

Thanks so much for all of your hugs and prayers!
Pop is conscious and aware of his surrounding although he is a little dopey. He has no feeling on the left side of his face and he also has lost some sensation in his feet...he does feel the bottom of his feet though which is a good sign. They found a blood clot in his brain, which they will hopefully be able to dissolve during his stay in the hospital.
What a day though...I feel like I was ran over by a bus...looking forward to just going home tonight and hitting the bed.
Once again thank you for your prayers...they really work!

so very happy to hear this Syl. go home, rest, comfort your hubby. Pop has a grandchild to look forward to!
and you know how we feel about that guy on NWR. he's an icon for us.
