I am so grossed out. One of the kids came in today scratching her head. Her dad told me he thinks it's the change of season, and he checked for lice but did not see anything. So I nicely asked him if he knew what to look for and he said (with an attitude) "I've checked for fleas before on my dog" What!!? So during the crazyness of morning drop off he sneaks out of the classroom and leaves. I check her and she has a head full of eggs I am so grossed out and itchy! I was checked this morning and i'm fine, but now i'm so itchy. I don't now if it's because I keep thinking about it.

A kid in my class had lice last week and for an hour before the nurse checked me I was CONVINCED that I had it ( I didn't)....so gross!!!!!!!!!!

i honestly think that is the biggest negative when working with kids.... lice are SO GROSS.

One of the kids in another class on my floor had lice AND bedbugs....2-3X this year! She never got rid of them...what is wrong with these parents

oh gross and I totally forgot about that! (Yeah I am a rookie!) I need to start wearing my hair up again!!!!!!

Well this is what i'm afraid of. If they do not clean the house well or remove every egg she can still carry it. Her father did not believe the nurse, it took him an hour and a half to come pick her up! To top it off he also told me this morning that his sons head was itchy also (that's when I said to myself she has lice and check!)
