Re: Level II sono?
For my first one, the tech didn't tell us much, except the sex (which we didn't want to know). But the tech did show us everything, like the heart, stomach, spine, etc. It was so cool to see all those parts!
When I saw my doc at the next visit and he went over the level II results, he said all was fine, but I had a low lying placenta. So I had another sono at 32 weeks to make sure it wasn't in the way of the cervix (it wasn't).
I'm not sure what else you'll find out.

Re: Level II sono?
They don't really tell you much of anything - they are checking to make sure everything is growing, checking all the organs, limbs, everything - They can tell you the sex at that time if the baby is in position. I didn't have mine done in Doctors office, I had it done in the hospital, so I had to wait for my doctor to tell me if everything was okay or not.

Re: Level II sono?
Your level II is mainly for the anatomy scan. They will check the sex and tell you if you want to know, but the main purpose of it is to view the baby's development. They view all of the major organs, 4 chambers of the heart, spine, lungs, etc. They measure the head and do measurements on a lot of body parts to make sure that everything is developing properly. The doctor didn't tell me much after mine except that all was OK. I didn't want to know the sex so aside from it being a long sono (it took a while to get all the different views that they needed to get) the doc didn't tell us much about it.
