How many days do you need to fully appreciate Las Vegas?

DH and I are planning a trip in November. I was thinking of going on Monday (arriving in LV at 10am) to Thursday. Is that enough time to see everything including the Grand Canyon?

And if you could suggest a hotel it would be appreciated!

The first time DH and I went was our honeymoon and we went for 7 nights. We wanted to relax, see a bunch of shows and see all the casinos.

We are going back in August and we are going for 5 nights. We are going to do the Grand Canyon which basically kills one whole day.

It's enough time to see the main highlights, you won't be able to see everything, but you can always go back!

For hotels, we stayed in the Venetian for our honeymoon. This time we are staying in TheHotel at Mandalay Bay. Both are all suite hotels.

I just asked a similar question recently... most people said having 4 full days there would be good!
We are staying 5 nights...
One day we plan to go to the Grand Caynon so that day is shot because I am sure it will be a long day. So, we will have 3 days to enjoy Vegas! We are going JUne 28th- July 3rd...I will update you when we get back!

We are staying at Paris.

Around the same price and really nice-the one we were choosing between is, Ceasar's.

For more money, there is Bellagio, Venetian-which my parents LOVED...

I checked tripadvisor.com for reviews of the hotels we were debating and then narrowed it down...

IMO thats plenty of time. DH and I went for 4 days 3 nights and we thought it was just enough and we didnt even use a day to see the Grand Canynon.

I def. think 4-days but you wont see everything... If your going to rent a car and go off strip maybe 5-days - I am going in October which will be my second time going and we are staying 6-nights at the bellagio - I CANT WAIT TO GO...

As far as hotesl to recommend:

Mirage - Moderate
TI - Moderate
Paris - More expensive
Bellagio - Expensive
Wynn - Expensive
Venetian - Expensive

I found three days in Vegas more then enough so maybe a fourth day for the Grand Canyon.

I stayed at the Mirage which was really nice. The rooms were large, it's centrally located on the strip and it was probably middle of the road price wise compared to the other hotels.

I've been 2xs. The first time I stayed a week, the second 4 days. You definitely need a solid 4 days there to get everything done. There is so much to see and do - shows, spas, gambling and other "touristy" things.

I stayed at the Mirage and TI. I felt like TI was geared to a "younger" crowd, but I did love the Mirage. I would stay at Bellagio or Paris next time I go.

I did 4 days there...but, definitely didn't see it all...I need to go again and think I'll do another 4 days...
