submitting resume to same company more than 1x
need some advice.
I submitted my resume to a job I wasn't 100% qualified for a couple months back.
And now I see the company has posted a new job that is definitely right up my alley.
so my question to you..in my coverletter, should I mention that I recently submitted my resume to the company for another position, but saw this one and would like to submit again? or should I just submit and not mention that ive tried before?
any advice is greatly appreciated!

I'd submit without mentioning you applied before. No need to mention that.

assuming you didn't interview for the other position, i wouldn't say anything. Leave it alone until you get an actual application asking if you've applied before.

I agree. I have mentioned it if I interviewed for something OR if I submitted within a few weeks for different positions. Good luck!
