A Doggie GTG?

Since I may not be able to do this in a little while and a few people have mentioned it, how about a doggie GTG at the new West Hills Dog Park?

I could make this Saturday, Sunday or the following weekend. Anything after that -- I can't committ to!! It would be lots of fun to meet some new pups and put people with the muzzles!!

Re: A Doggie GTG?

Yes, SUnday is Mother's Day so probably not such a good idea.

The 19 would be OK for me -- what about at Farmingdale??

Re: A Doggie GTG?

I'd be up for it, but it is often last minute whether I have to go to work to catch up on Saturdays.

I have to warn you though. Last week at Blydenburgh Park, my dog quickly established himself as pack leader even though he was about 40lbs lighter and 2 feet shorter than the other smallest dog there. There were no fights at all, it's just that he shocked some of the people who had originally asked my husband if my dog would be okay with such huge dogs!

If it's early, then count me in.
I have a bridal shower that day in the afternoon.

A woman on the dachshund website that I go to has a dachshund named Napolean. That name would really fit my dog. Incidentally, someone whose office is downstairs from mine brought in their little doggie the other day. The dog was so shy and it was so weird for me to see a shy dog. My dog greets everyone he sees!!!! (isn't it great how I complained when people smoked in my office building but I became so happy when people brought their dogs?!!!)

Re: A Doggie GTG?

If its the 19th or 20th, Im in..I will be off bed rest and while I may move really really slow, I would love for abby to get a chance to run around, she loves other dogs and hardly gets out with Mommy laying around so much these days...

Re: A Doggie GTG?

Once a date and time is set I'll see if Peanut and I can make it. I have to say she is very submissive when it comes to other dogs, but she loves to meet new people/dogs!
