Are you going to get a flu shot?
I asked my Dr. about it and she said she would recommend it, but then I was reading about the flu vaccinations containing mercury or thimerosal so now I'm wondering if it's worth it.

I have NEVER gotten a flu shot because of those reasons, and I read that PG women should. Im still on the fence, because Im a teacher. But I probably wont get it.

I'm a speech therapist and I work with autistic kids who have no idea how to keep their germs to themselves.  Besides that, working with autistic kids I have read enough of the theories on vaccinations causing autism so that worries me too. I've never gotten a flu shot in the past, but I do remember having the flu back in HS and I do not want to have to go through that again, especially pregnant!

Absolutely not and I'm in the healthcare profession. Last time I got the shot I came down with such a bad case of the flu I thought I was going to die. WHo needs that while pregnant?

I never have and never will get a flu shot. I work in healthcare and have never gotten the flu. I was pregnant during the end of flu season last year and didn't get the shot and was fine. I guess it's a personal preference.

i am i had the flu last year and it was horrible. they said to stay away from the flu shot in the first trimester im now in my third so i can get it.
