Where would you wear this dress?
I just bought this dress at Syms because I thougth it was pretty and it fit. Also, it was only $38.
However, I must walk around with my eyes closed & not notice what other people wear, because I am having trouble figuring out what is appropriate to where at what times-- especially with dresses.
Any suggestions?
It seems too dressy for work, and not dressy enough for a wedding.

Really? I thought it was too dressy for work.
We're kind of business casual, but some of the new younger girls dress up a little.
I was thinking maybe for a rehearsal dinner, but that's not until September.

i wouldn't wear to work - maybe if it were a plain color
definitely to another event that is not a wedding - shower, christening, even out to a fancy dinner

Almost anywhere. I think you can dress it up or down, depending on the occasion. I would wear that to a Christening, a shower, Engagement Party, (any type of event where you want to look dressy, but not over-dressed). And if you want to go for a sexier look, like a date night- Maybe pair it up with sexy strappy sandals or something with a higher heel. I love it! Great buy!!!!
