I need a dress

For graduation...and it will be seen since we have a breakfast before the ceremony. I don't want to spend a lot of money though, but I want something nice. I bought a dress a few days ago at Mandees and the way it's cut makes the ladies look bigger than they are...to a point that its not flattering. Plus it's kind of baby-dollish and that cut never looks good on me. I went to Macy's and they had absolutely nothing. Ideas?

Have you tried TJ MAXX or Marshalls? They usually have a nice selection at reasonable prices.

Lord and Taylor usually has nice stuff. Where I live (MD) they have a whole section of day dresses that are gorgeous.

TJMax, Marshalls, Ann Taylor Loft..or what about capris? My cap and gown was black, so I wore black dress capris and a nice top. This way I could wear black shoes that will be seen and matched my cap and gown.

It's just me, but I hate the look of girls shoes not matching their gown, when they will be seen.

Re: I need a dress

I actually just bought two really cute ones from Kohl's last night! They are LIGHT since the graduation is outside (Hopefully!) and I have a breakfast beforehand too so I am wearing a light sweater on top.
