Re: Cooking Magazines ??

I LOVE "Taste of home" ..They have No advertising so its just recipes and usually like 80 in each month and they have different magazines ..

Light, Cooking for two, home cooking..whatever your tastes or situations are.

Re: Cooking Magazines ??

I renewed my Cooking Light- I try to make a bunch of their recipes

I don't think I'll renew my Gourmet-too schmancy for everyday.

Re: Cooking Magazines ??

Cooking Light is good but you can also buy their recipe book which combines all the recipes from the monthly magazine. Then the recipes are all in one spot!

Ooo thanks. I didn't know about Cook's Illustrated, I want to try it now.

Martha Stewart (I like the recipes for special occasions. Not so much, the everyday recipes.)

Bon Appetit...I don't have a subscription, but I have picked this up from the bookstore a few times to make a particular recipe. I like it.

Re: Cooking Magazines ??

I used to get Gourmet for a few years, but I have found it much easier to just look up the recipies on their website Epicurious - they have Bon Appetit recipies here too. I like being able to search based upon meal, main ingredient, etc. and you can set up your own recipe box and add your own comments.

Cooking light recipies and Real Simple recipies can be found on AOL.

My mom just got me a subscription to Paula Deen's magazine and I have to say it is MUCH better then Rachel Rays (although I really can't stand Rachel so maybe that's why)
