Re: Any good ideas for losing weight??
My upper arms are a problem area...the only thing that gets those babies in shape is working them out! Even if I had no fat on them, my muscles are big and my upper arm is kinda short. They only looked good when I regularly trained (well, so i think!)

Re: Any good ideas for losing weight??
you cannot spot reduce, but with a good diet, cardiovascular exercise and weight training (biceps curls, triceps kickbacks/dips/pulldowns/scull crushers, front/lateral raises, shoulder presses, reverse flies), you will lose body fat and build lean muscle (shaplier/firmer appearance to your arms)

Tricep kickbacks - standing a ski position (like you are going down a slope) feet shoulder width apart, knees slightly bent, lean forward. Arms at your sides, elbows bent and close to your body. Extend the forearm back (arm straightens) then bend back in. This is lengthening and contracting the tricep. To make it alittle more difficult, when you extend the arm back, turn your palm up to the ceiling, so get a bigger rotation through the tricep.
Dips - you can do on the floor or a bench. Hands under your shoulders, fingers pointing towads you. Bend at your elbows lowering your hips down towards the floor. Try to keep your elbows close to your body, not turned out. then straighten back up.
Skull Crushers - lay on your back, lower back flat. Holding wt/bar overhead about shoulder width apart, palms towards feet. Lower the wt towards your forehead, bending at the elbows, but keep your upper arm (bicep area) steady. Elbows pointed to the ceiling, don't let them turn out.
I hope my description made sense
