BTDT Moms - What was the hardest stage?

Just wondering what you thought the hardest stage of having twins has been?

so far, I thought the 0-3 months was the hardest for us, ebacsue they were eating so ofetn and more needy.
Plus going through sleepness nights with Christopher's Colic.


My boys are almost 8 months, and IM LOVING this stage.

I think for us - it would be from 0-9 months - so 2 categorys.

Once they were able to sit up on their own - it just seemed to get a little easier - plus it took them so long to sleep thru the night - (14 months!) I think that was the hardest cuz we were sooooo tired!

Now, its like a cake walk. They are so much fun to be around.

eta: they are 19 months now, and I can't believe how fast the time went!

Well, 0-3 for the pure exhaustion reason, but 20 or so months was really hard because it was constant disciplining. Its the age (at least in our house) where they really started to push limits and I was always worried about them getting hurt. It probably only lasted 2 or 3 months maybe, but it was hard!!!

So far 0-3 months. For the sleep deprivation and really the babies not being really "intersting"...no smiling, laughing, etc. Now I find them to be hysterical and easier to manage.

I cringe now when i see a newborn baby because it brings me back to that really tough time.

I am torn between 0-3 and 18 - 24 months.

Diciplining them is hard work, they laugh right in your face, have minds of thier own and cry at everything when they don't get thier way. It gets real old real quick. But now they can do so much more for themselves and don't need to have every need met at exactly that second.

So far, the 0-3 month, no sleep stage was the hardest. Now, at 9 months, I'm loving every minute!

My girls are 14 months now and i thought 03 and 3-6 were hard. They just cry and are uncomfortable during that stage. I loved 6-12 month stage and the current stage they are in although they are getting into everything now it's a different kind of hard.

LOL...My girls are 8 years old and I have been asked this question A MILLION TIMES...Each stage is difficult and rewarding in its own way..what was once difficult becomes easy only to be replaced by a new challenge. Things dont really ever get easier or harder they just simply change.
