gorgonzola salad help..
ok so far i have:
lettuce
glazed walnuts
dried cranberries
gorgonzola
rasberry dressing
what else am i missing? that is all my friend said to use..do i need something like cherry tomatoes..cukes or something..Thanks so much in advance

maybe some red onion or shredded carrots
I think when you make a salad it all depends on preferrance, I think that is the best part of doing it yourself.

Everyone LOVES my gorgonzola salad. I use mixed greens, candied walnuts, pears chopped and soaked in lemon, and gorgonzola cheese. I don't put any dressing because the lemon really adds a lot of flavor. Now I'm in the mood for it.

I learned this on Sara's Secrets about Asian Pears........thought I would share!!!

For this salad, I like crisp, moist Asian pears (also called Japanese pears), which can be sliced ahead of time because they don't brown easily. They are also fairly easy to find.
