JHS -I went to Kim Sun Young Salon today

in Bayside. I was very happy with them. Very nice and clean salon. I loved the design and the set-up.
They had an internet area but I didnt get a chance to go over there. They also had a coffee machine with all sorts of different flavors for coffee and tea.
I decided to try there since it was closer to my house and they have a parking lot.
It came to be more money there then when I went to top point last year. They said I needed a protein treatment which costs $50 to help protect my hair. Since it was a year since I got the JHS done I let them do it. I have to go back in a week and 1/2 for a free deep conditioning treatment.

Used to live right around the corner from them. Just thought they were a bit pricy.

Hi, I went there the other day and loved it too...I have a question though...did you purchase their hair products before you left? I didnt and now wish I did, I can finally wash my hair tomorrow and am debating on getting them before I wash my hair, just wanted your opinion. Also, they didnt offer me a free condition treatment, how did you get that? I paid $50 for it and they told me to come back to get a deep condition but no mention of it being free...thank you :)

I didnt purchase any products. They use bumble and bumble so you can probably buy it at Harmon.
I dont know why mine is free and yours wasnt. I did make a complaint that when I called to make the appt. I checked if they took credit cards. They said yes so I didnt worry about taking cash. I go to pay and the girl says if I pay with credit card she will have to charge me tax and if I paid cash they wouldnt. I told her that they should have told me that over the phone and that I wasnt willing to pay the extra on my credit card. Eventually she let me pay with my credit card w/out the extra and then I told her to put on her tip and she said she coudnt put tip on credit card. Again, I said I have very little cash - I had $4 in my wallet. So we agreed that I will tip her when I go back for the treatment.
