If you are shopping and come across something you love...
If you are shopping for a particular item and come across something else that you don't need but you really love, do you buy it, or do you need a specific reason/occasion to buy something?
I am so picky that if I come across something I REALLY love I buy it and I worry about where I am going to wear it later.
What about you?

I have learned the hard way that if you don't buy something you love when you first see it, it might not be there the next time. If I really love it and it's within my means, I buy it.

same here...and then I "find" a reason to wear it.
that's how i ended up buying my shower dress (august shower) in March

me too. I actually regret not buying a few items, that when I went back, tehy were sold out. Unless it is a dressy dress, cause I have too many of these and not enough dressy occassions.

It depends on what it is. Shoes I can pass on. I just passed on a super cute pair of high wedges yesterday, only because I wasn't sure what I'd wear them with (I bought 2 pairs of shoes for Jackson instead though!)
If it's something that I know I'll never see again, and I really love it, then I'll usually get it.

I used to be very impulsive but now I try not to be as much...I ask myself, do I really need it?
Of course, if it would make my life easier or make me feel better about my appearance, etc - then I go for it!

in the past- yes- with out hesitation
but now I tend to think about things more- I also don't put myself in the situation as much
I used to go to the mall at least once a week- this year I have gone 3 times max
I am trying to buy things at less expensive stores- like yesterday I went to H&M- I bought everything I wanted- it came to $104 with the 25% friends and family- I got 10 things
