stop the chipping
how do you prevent your nails from tipping? My nails always chip just a day or two after getting a manicure. I always get a light color so it is not as noticeable but it drives me crazy and it's such a waste of money.

Re: stop the chipping
I agree it is SO annoying when they chip the next day! I bought this stuff called Sticky base, I forget the brand I think it is by Creative. It is a blue-green color in the bottle. I used it on Sunday night when I did my nails and they still look great!

Re: stop the chipping
I use Sally Hansen's Hard As Nails - one coat every other day. Manicure lasts almost a week without chipping. You might need to use a little extra remover to get your polish off, but it's worth it.

ITA.
I actually use her "No Chipping" and just bought a new bottle last night. It works so well for me - a whole week without chipping.
Even last week, I forgot to put it on for a few days and got chips. I put it on and not one more chip!
It does take a little extra remover to get it off, but it IS definitely worth it.

Re: stop the chipping
i swear by the quik dry top coats - seche vite (or something like that) - my manicure lasts so much longer when i get that top coat - and i dont have to waste time drying.

Re: stop the chipping
I have the easiest solution ever - just wear clear over your nails
I've been doing that for the 1st time in YEARS and I wish I would have done it sooner!

Me too. When I do wear a color, I top it with nailtique!
