How often do you highlight your hair?
 I got highlights last night, wondering how often most people have to get them done.

I do a full head of highlights and lowlights plus base color
6 weeks later I touch up the base
6 weeks later I touch up the base and crown highlights
6 weeks later I do the whole initial process again.

I get a little crazy about getting roots plus I change the color around a bit, so I'm going to say every 6-8 weeks...

Mine blend very naturally into my hair, so I manage to go about every 5 months. It's a long time, but it saves me money, and you really can't tell that I haven't gone.

on avg every 3 months
sometimes i will get full head, then three months later half head, then back to full head
