Gold Eyeshadow... for olive toned skin types..
I have olive toned skin, and I've been looking for a sheer gold shadow forever!! Every sheer gold I try on either looks to yellow or doesn't seem to show up on me.
In January of 2000, I was in South Beach, and I got a eye shadow palette from Club Monaco that had the PERFECT gold shadow in it. Problem is that was 7 years ago and it's now LONG gone. Here are my questions..
1 - Does Club Monaco still carry make-up?
2 - I think the answer to the first question is no, so can anyone recommend an alternative?

We have the same coloring and my favorite gold eyeshadow is Vincent Longo's Eyeshadow Trio - Sex, Lux, Pax in Soul (golden vanilla/ gold/ warm copper)

I did. I got it last week. It is so comfortable. The only thing is that I have to cut some of the ribbon because the bow will look to big.

I love Laura Mercier Creme Metallic shadow in Gold. Very sheer and buildable.

I just got a great gold color (for olive skin) - Shu Umeura - I have to look at the color - but I recommend their line - they have awesome colors that go on really well!

I have oily lids also and swore I could never use cream shadow. But these actually don't crease on me at ALL and coupled with lid primer by Urban Decay it really doesn't budge!
eta: sorry, i'm a little fanatical about this shadow - Chatham-Chick turned me on to it and now I've bought almost every shade

Did you try using a primer first?
Mac makes a cream primer that makesssssss the shadow stay putt no matter what....
bobbie brown also does alot with Golds..
Saks.com has alot of her stuff

Saks.com has alot of her stuff
yep, the primer bleeds into my crease as well. Bobbie brown ones are to yellowy on my skin.
