Calligraphy
Does anyone know where any calligraphy classes are given on Long Island? The only classes I am finding are in the city.

No, but my friends mom taught me the basics and then I purchased a great book with different kinds of fonts and taught them to myself. Practice with tracing paper and then move on to graph paper.

Nassau Community College!
I just took a calligraphy course there through their continuing education classes. It's taught by a woman who's been doing calligraphy for 20 years. Really great class - I took it twice so that I could perfect my letters. So glad I did that. I really enjoyed it.
