So we got a kennel for the backyard.**Now with Pic**
Bailey is little and only 14 pounds but we bought him a 6x10 foot one with a cover. It is also 6 feet tall and has a sun canopy over the top and a floor. We wanted him to have plenty of room.
I think he is going to really love it and so will we. I know he will be safe there.
I think our neighbors might get mad about it but whatever

Because it is really big and probably will be an eye soar to them but whatever!! Go mow your lawn

OMG!!
My cats have a pen... it's 10x10x7 off the house, then there's a 44 foot tunnel to the back of my property where it is then 16x24x7... I did warn my neighbors first but I don't think they expected it to be THAT big! I just think - hey they didn't 'warn' me when they put up the GIGANTIC jungle gym for their kids.

Updated!! We picked it up 2 days ago and put it up tonight. Bailey so far loves it. He was running around like mad with all his toys.
Question: Do you think we should get a dog house for in the kennel? I just feel like he needs somewhere to cuddle up in.

Is he going to be out there all the time? If so, I would definitely get him a shelter...it's the law. If not, you probably don't need it, since he'd be in the house during inclement weather.

I am so glad to see you got him a kennel! I would get a dog house of some kind, they like that closed-in den feeling and he can hang there when he wants to.

We are only going to put him out there sometimes. During the day when we are not home he likes to sleep in his little bed
It will mainly be when the cleaning people are here, or when our friends are over that don't like dogs, stuff like that.
Right now I put him in it because I am jumping in the shower and I thought it was a nice day to get some fresh air

thats great! when we move into a placce with a backyard ill be throwing my dogs outside if i get a cleaning lady and stuff too, but since tehy are so little i get nervous leaving them outside when im not home. a pen soundslike a great idea depending on the size of the yard, ill have to look into this.
