What should I do? UPDATE
This week at work is open enrollment. My DH and I both work at Duke. When I started with Duke I went onto my own health plan to save $50.00 per month. Before that I was on my DH's plan. Anyway, unfortunately my DH is still against TTC#2 right now (still breaks my heart), but I need to make a decision about whether or not I need to go onto his plan again so that in January I'm covered under the Infertility plan. You have to be with Duke for at least 2 years. My DH has been with them for over 4.5 years. Now that I know I have Endo I know that there's a GOOD possibility of needing the Infertility plan at some point. I just won't know if I need it since we haven't even tried to make a baby. Also, since I have Endo, I will be able to use their services right away instead of waiting the typical you have to try for at least a year before you're covered for any procedures thing. What do you guys think I should do? I have to enroll tomorrow if I'm going to??? HELP!!! Thanks!
Well... it doesn't look like I'll be able to go onto my DH's plan right now. The price has gone up and it's no longer only $50 between the plans, it's $140.00. For us right now, is too much. Now I can only pray that when my DH is ready to TTC#2 that he we don't have any problems. Thanks for your advice.

Re: What should I do?
Can you enroll and then back out at some point? If so, that's what I would do. Sorry if I'm not much help but I would do what you think you need to have in worst (or best!) case scenario. Good Luck!

Re: What should I do?
I'd do it...even if you are not TTC #2, endo should be treated as something completely seperate in regards to TTC.
Endo can be painful and damaging to your insides and I think you should work on treating that AND Then TTC

Re: What should I do?
Without a doubt, do it. Infertility treatment is so expensive that even if you don't ttc#2 right away,....50 dollars a month, for several years, won't add up to the amount of money you may save. Insurance, is not something you should try to cut back on. Even if you never use it, at least it gives you less to worry about financially. I would cut back on something else, to save the 50 dollars.
