How long do your jeans last?
Before they either rip or get so faded that they no longer look good?
For people that have jeans last a long time (years), what do you do to take care of them in the wash?

Me? I say a year. But they definitely get faded. I wear jeans to work all the time (I'm a researcher so we are all very casual) and I only have a few pairs that I actually like the fit.

I have jeans for years and years. I don't wear them very often, I don't wash them after every wear unless they're stained or smelly (usually 2 or 3 wears) and I never ever dry them. And I dry clean my Sevens because I paid too much for them to risk them shrinking/fading or at all becoming unwearable.

i keep jeans for years.
i keep a steady rotation so i reduce the risk of them fading, ripping, etc. i also do not wash them after every wear.

Yeah, my problem is I wear the same ones over and over again, and I dry them too!

Yeah, my problem is I wear the same ones over and over again, and I dry them too!
nothing wrong with that - just gives you another reason to jean shop more often...

My jeans last for years. I don't wash them after each wear either and I make sure I have a few, usually 2 or 3, in rotation so I don't destroy them by wearing the same ones over and over again.
