Does anyone know how to create that hairdo where...
the top is "puffed" up. I want to do a low, messy-ish bun with the top kind of lifted for a wedding. And I don't want to pay to get it did! ha ha!

tease the hair underneath and then comb the top layer of the pouf, so it is smooth. I would think it would require a lot of hairspray.

you could pull the hair back, poof it up with your hand and secure it with a bobby pin to hold the poof.
if you don't want to use pins, then i agree that you should probably tease it.
btw - i want to try this too!

I wear mine like this a lot. I blow out the top with a round brush and pin. Then I take a comb point and pull the puff forward. I have really thick hair so it goes up pretty easy. Hairspray and pins will hold it together.
Thin hair I would take more from the back to make the puff more substantial.
