Update on my Boys Edited Edited June 29th
Well I went to the NICU twice yesterday and got to see how much better they are doing
Zachary( the little guy) is breathing on his own for the last 2 days . Has been getting about 8cc of formula through his nose and it is not coming back up and is getting very mad if the nurse feeds his brother first..
Harrison- Is still on the CPAP and is now only on room air. they are taking him off a few hours at a time. He is getting 10cc of formula through his mouth right now and it is also staying down .They are hoping he will be off the CPAP by the weekend
They both did 48 hours of phototherapy and are looking really toasted!
Dh and I both got to hold Zachary the other day and are really loking forward to holding Harrison.
UPDATE 6/23 PM
HARRISON IS OFF THE CPAP!!!!!!!!
I am so excited. I went tonight and his eyes were wide open and I was able to see is handsome face. He is eating 15 CC of formula and just loked so much like a "baby"
Zachary is giving the nurses h*ll he fuses and pulls at his wires and yells when he does not get fed...
Now the Dr can not wait for them to ween off their Iv's

UPDATE JUNE 29th
They have both been doing really well..
Zachary is back to his birth weight plus and is a little trouble maker. He has been eating 40 cc's of formula and doing really well
Harrison graduated this morning to an open air bassinnett.. I am so happy. he is eating 55cc(almost2 oz) and is also back to his birth weight. He is having some trouble feeding from the nipple.. he will do it for one feeding a day and then is so tired the rest of it..
So hopefully only a few more weeks.....

That is such great news!!
One of my boys earned the name Feisty Joe while there, he would pull out his feeding tube daily and fight them on everything, LOL. If you need anyone to talk to about them being in the NICU, let me know. It really helped when I spoke to mom's who had been thru it.
