Do your puppies sleep through out the night?

Ours get up sometimes 2-3 times a night. Is this normal and when does it stop???

My Casey never got up during the night, but she did get up at 5AM bc she had to pee Plus puppies have tons of energy. Are you exercising them enough during the day?

How old is your puppy?

Cooper will be 3 in Aug. and he sleeps thru the night and has for a little over a year... before that he would get up to go out and pee... if he is getting up but not having to go outside, I would give him a chew toy... we do that with Cooper in the morning because he gets up sooooo early to eat and then doesn't go back to bed, so I give him a toy to chew on which helps him fall back to sleep...

our puppy used to get up every night at 5AM to use the bathroom, then go back to sleep...but now she sleeps thru the night and gets up with DH...our Older dog always slept thru the night

Our dog sleeps through the night. She only gets up at 5AM to go pee, because that's when DH's alarm goes off.
If it wasn't for that, I know she would sleep later.

my dogs still get up in the middle of the night, but they do so quietly. I only know b/c I have a newborn & am up with him

Our puppy does not right now. She wakes up every 2-3 hours.

Last night was the 1st night she slept all the way through from 10pm to 5am. THANK GOD!

My MIL suggested I buy a puppy pal from Target for the dog. Your microwave it for 30 sec and set it next to the puppy where it sleeps and it acts/sounds like another puppy/dog in the same place, so their less unhappy. It was like $5.

My puppy goes into his bed at 10 and sleeps until 8-9 the next morning. He's a big sleeper.

Bella didn't sleep through the night until we moved her into our room, now she sleeps all night, the only thing that sucks is that she is on such a schedule of getting up a 6:15 she will wake me up, even though I am on summer vacation now!!!! I have been taking her out later at night now so I get an extra hour or two in the morning.

Boogie sleeps a lot in general- he sleeps through the night most of the time, sometimes I hear him walking around downstairs- but he knows to "hold it" until DH comes down to let him out ...

Sometimes we still put him in the crate at night, this has been an issue lately- and he doesnt like it and barks a lot- it's annoying since we dont know what he wants- besides our attention- so that's why we leave him out and he does sleep most of the time

He sleeps through the entire night and then some...he usually wakes up at 11 a.m. goes to the bathroom then eats then back to bed

puppies will need to use the bathroom

Rocky is weird though
when he slept in my bed as a puppy, he would sleep for until i got up
even now, he sleeps with my parents and wont wake up until my dad gets up
