I'll probably end up buying it too...the Queens Library only has 1 copy in all its branches...and its checked out and nowhere near me.

Of course Morgan -- I don't have the book yet either. I hope it is a quick read!
Do you all want to go to the place at Tobay Beach? Bill and I went the other day and it was over an hour wait (Sat night) but they said a Monday would be fine. The food looked good, menu similar to Singletons.

It's at Tobay Beach...Take the Ocean Parkway to Tobay and it's in there....I believe down by the marina.

If you take the Wantagh Parkway to Jones Beach - go into the left lanes at the pay booths..go to the Water Tower and follow the signs to Ocean Parkway(sort of going left). Stay on the Ocean Parkway and about 4 miles after the sign saying "Leaving Jones Beach". You'll see a sign for Tobay Beach (it's a small green sign - I think). Make a U-Turn at the next turnaround and go into Tobay Beach (there's no charge after 4 p.m.).
The restaurant is in the back left corner of the parking lot if I'm not mistaken.Link to map

The restaurant is directly in front of the toll booths as you come in - it's on the bay side. You can't miss it! The Seafood Shack
