Side Sleeping
My daughter does not like sleeping on her back. She gets restless and won't stay down very long even if she's swaddled. She prefers her side so we let her sleep on her side with either the sleep positioner or a blanket rolled up behind her. How bad is this?

Re: Side Sleeping
No matter how we put her into bed, our daughter rolls to the side or her stomach.

Re: Side Sleeping
Maybe I am crazy, but I thought sleeping on the side was even better than the back....something about in case they spit up they won't choke on it, etc.

Re: Side Sleeping
That was the only way Isabella would sleep since day one!! I got the sleep positioner and let her sleep on her side.

Re: Side Sleeping
I think that if you have her set up nice and good in the sleep positioner it should be okay.

Re: Side Sleeping
From what I know side sleeping is just as safe as the back as long as the child is secure

Re: Side Sleeping
My son wouldnt sleep on his back at all.. he would occasionally sleep on his side.. but he was a belly sleeper from day one.. I would check on him a gazillion times a night.. but he was just fine.. Momma knows best.. you can read your baby and what its feeling.. if shes comfyon her side.. she (and you) will get to sleep much easier!
