Does your DH...
take your son/daughter out to a relative's house without you? (If you weren't feeling well or you were working, etc)

My DH will take our older one, but not the baby...she's a little Mommy clingy and I think he is afraid too..

Yes, my hubby will take our daughter without me. It doesn't happen often, but he has no problem with it.

Same here. Lately if she hurts herself (like yesterday she slammed her fingers in the pages of a board book) DH can't calm her down, but the second I take her she calms down. I think his feelings were hurt.
Does your DH want to take her somewhere alone, or is he too nervous to?

No...he's not nervous...I just wouldn't let him take Jared to his mother's house without me. I know that once he gets there...he gets lost with all the people that are there. I just like to be there to have a watchful eye. I wouldn't mind him taking him out anywhere else...just not there...alone.

I don't blame you. Especially considering how she acts toward you. Why let her act like she's the loving doting grandma if she really isn't?

Yeah he does once in a while not to often.
she is also mommy clingy like if she gets hurt s he wants mommy not daddy and this is shocking to both of us since he is home with her all day while I am at work. (he works nites)

DH has taken Nate to his parents house without me to give me a break. I enjoy the time alone in the house.
The baby goes to the ILs house once a week so I can get some things done. I don't mind bc he's the center of attention when he goes there.

I would not let my DH take Claire to his parents house alone because I just didnt feel 100% comfortable with it. They never really respect the fact that I am her mom and always judge every decision I make about her. (BF vs formula, bedtime, solid food, ect)
When we visit them we are always together so I can be around to keep on eye out for what is going on..........
