Las Vegas in December

My Joe's birthday is December 3 and last year was his 30th. We were unable to "splurge" due to saving for a house and him being broken so I thought maybe this year we could go somewhere great. LAS VEGAS!!!!!!!! I was looking at Expedia while at work and for 2 ppl roundtrip and 4 nights at the Hooters Casino $650!!!! Or 2 roundtrip tickets and 4 nights at New York New York $776!!! I talked to Joe nad he wants to go! We decided to use this as a joint Christmas gift. We'll have a nice dinner on his b-day, but instead of the usual presents we'll take this trip. At Christmas we'll just fill our stockings and give little gifts. I am so excited!! I have been there, but Joe hasn't. Plus with the wedding this month we have everything we need and it's not like we're skipping x-mas. I am SOOOOOOOO excited!!! It's been 4 yrs for me so...................any suggestions or ideas?

Thats a great idea... I would check out booking it on your own - Although it seems like a great price - it all depends on where you want to stay - I hear so so things about NY NY and never anything about the hooters location...

Once your booked let me know what you decide...

I would def. set time aside to see Grand Canyon and Hoover dam... Even red rock caynon was nice... I am going again in October and seeing Grand Caynon which we didnt see when we were there on ouy honeymoon...

That price is on my own. I looked it up on Expedia.com and travelocity.com I don't use ta's. Maybe if I went out of the country or on an extended trip, but small get togethers I prefer to handle

Hooters is across the street from New York New York. I would pay the extra to stay at New York New York. Hooters is cool to hangout at but not as nice as New York NewYork to stay at. Just my opinion from past experiance I have been to Vegas 4 times and I love it!!
