Maintenance/Lifetime WW?
For those that have done maintenance & achieved lifetime membership, any tips?
I realize I'm getting ahead of myself (I have about 5-7 lbs more) but I honestly can't picture being able to add points back in & not be paranoid about gaining back.

Re: Maintenance/Lifetime WW?
For me maintenance has been harder than weight loss.
WW guidelines for maintenance suggest adding 2 points a day and depending on how weigh in goes for that week, you will cut back or increase depending if you lost or gained.
At my location, I was advised not to do that. Because the body needs to adjust, I was told to start out by adding 2 points to three days of the week. From there, if you still lost, continue to add 2 points to one more day each week until you are no longer losing, while not gaining either. If at the point you have added 2 points to each of the seven days and are still losing, then you jump to 2 added points for 4 days and 3 added points for 3 days, so on and so forth . . . .(I hope this just made sense.)
My maintenance has been some what erratic. I go up down, up down because I have not yet found the patience to play around with it.
The best thing to do is to continue going to meetings regularly (if you have been doing so) and to not go back into the mind set of "I have lost it, now back to the way I ate before."

Re: Maintenance/Lifetime WW?
Thanks for your replies. I think I'm worried about maintenance more than losing weight.
Sorry to bug you again, but a few more questions...
If you continue to drop weight, are you still considered on maintenance or they start you all over?
Also the 35 pts...do we still get them?

Re: Maintenance/Lifetime WW?
IF you continue to loose weight, you are still okay... you just can't go 2 lbs over your goal weight, or you get charged again....
and yes, you get to keep your flex points! I would NEVER survive without those suckers!
