It might not be a bad idea to get her vetted. Make sure there are no medical problems.

I agree with this. And if it turns out that all is okay medically, would you consider getting a trainer or taking classes? Good luck

Re: Need some advice!!
yes i would make sure she doesn't have any medical issues. also what have you been doing when you see that she has pooped in the house. Dogs don't know right from wrong, she is probably reacting to whatever your reaction is to the poop.

Re: Need some advice!!
I dont think there is anything wrong with her medically, she isnt pooping excessively-She usually goes like two-three times a day. The only thing that makes me annoyed is that she wil do it after coming in from out--I have had her trained before, what do you think they can do to help that?? I would look into it, any suggestions on who to call for training?

agree with other posters, something may be wrong if this is not normal.
is your dog eating more then normal? how about treats, have they increased?

Re: Need some advice!!
Has anything changed? New place, new furniture, new baby? Generally, that stuff doesn't happen unless something changes. Did you used to take her for walks and now just let her out? If nothing has changed and she is just doing it. I would watch her when she comes back in and as soon as you see her start to squat - give her a huge NO and grab her and carry her back outside. Then reward her for finishing outside. You are really going to have to watch her like a hawk, though.

Is she being left home alone more than normal? Is she being spiteful about anything? I think Gerty's advice is very good. What a frustrating situation for you...

Re: Need some advice!!
My dog did the same thing but he was house trained and at 6 months old or so he started poopin in the house. I took him to the vet and turns out out of no where he had developed a sensitive stomach (they thought at first it was colitis). Now he's on special food and he's back to doing his duty outside. :) Definitly take your pup to the vet.
