It's definitely a defense mechanism. We all react differently to sickness and death.

I agree. Try though to "ask" Storm what he wants. I know it sounds crazy, but I did this with Hans after agonizing for many many months over what to do, and avoiding him, etc. I tell you as I sit here typing today he let me know when it was time & what he wanted from me. I just looked into his eyes and saw he was slipping away, and wanted me to let him go.

It's not crazy at all.DH does this all the time, and I think Stormy is telling my DH. I'm just not ready to ask or listen, but I know I have to do it....
