Re: spinoff to ShellyESQ question.....did you have a a "feeling" when you'd go
I thought for sure I'd go late, being it was my first, at my 37 week visit I was not dilated or effaced.
At 37 weeks, 3 days my water broke and he was born 3 hours later.
I've never been so wrong!

I didn't have a feeling either way - I just kept praying to go early b/c I was so miserable. Of course I went 3 days late
This time EVERYONE thinks I'll go early just b/c I'm carrying so big.
I've decided not to have an opinion LOL

Re: spinoff to ShellyESQ question.....did you have a a "feeling" when you'd go
My first I had exactly on my due date. With my second I was a couple of days late and with my third I kept telling my Doc I was going to go early and she kept saying no your all set. The other two were at your due date so no need to think this one won't be. Well I had so much preassure I knew. She came 3w and 1d early. Not to mention she arrived on Jan 1, My water broke while family and friends were all hanging out for New Years. No one believed me and thought I was joking until they saw me standing there with my bag and told them I would just drive myself and call them when she was born. Everyone started running around and next thing I know my father who was at an Elks lodge New Years Party was in the driveway engine running. Needless to say she was greetd into this world with Grampa in a tux LOL!!! So my instincts were right. She was the first baby born in the state of Maine in 2001. Sorry so long.

Completely wrong both times.
First time, I assumed I would go around my due date - and went 6 weeks early.
Second time - I was at a party on a Friday night and told people I was probably going to go late to make up for the last time. I was thinking 2 weeks late since I was carrying so high. I didn't know that you tend to carry higher on your 2nd. Maddie came on Saturday night.

I thought for sure I would go early and then I was supposed to be induced at 38 weeks but didn't have to and then ended up being 5 days late. I think I jinxed myself by thinking I would go early.
