Does anyone have this?
I think Stayandjon does (????)
I was thinking about buying it...He hates his bassinett, he occasionally sleeps in his carrier, and Im just not ready to even try the crib and have him in another room..
At night he lays so content on me or next to me (whether he is sleeping or not) but the things is...I usually fall asleep too... If Im gonna be breaking the "Dont ever let your baby sleep in bed with you rule" Id rather do it a safer way....
How safe is this thing??? I showed my MIL and of course she had something to say (as always) saying that this (having the baby in our bed) increases the risk of SIDS (but does that apply if he is in a positioner....there in the same things in their cribs..) and that the baby could wiggle down to the bottom since theres nothing enclosing the feet area... (I cant see my 3 week old being able to pull that off...)
Any info would be great thanks! Image Attachment(s):

Re: Does anyone have this?
Yes I had this. It was a Godsend! John hated his bassinett, if he slept in it twice it was a lot. He was in it from the time he was 3.5 weeks until 3 months, it was very safe, plus I had the sleep positioner in it, he could not roll over nor could we roll on him, and he slept on his side. My pediatrician said he liked this better than a co-sleeper.
ETS: My son is a major fidget and he NEVER wiggled out to the bottom

Re: Does anyone have this?
I didn't use that but broke the baby in the bed rule. I wouldn't suggest it though. Not only did it take forever to get him out of our bed but I couldn't sleep well since occasionally DH would pull the covers and the cover would be over Joseph's head. I would sleep with one arm around him & push blankets off him.

WHat size bed do you have???
And was it hard making the transition into the crib...either way I have to make a transition from either bassinett to crib or this to crib right?

Re: Does anyone have this?
We have a king sized bed. There was no problem getting him to the crib, on the day he turned 3 months he was put in the crib and I had no problems at all. I did put him back in when he got his 3 months shots because he was running a fever and I wanted him near me (better than sleeping on the floor in his room), and still had no problem when he was put back in his crib the next night

Re: Does anyone have this?
I just dont wanna spend the 50 bucks if this isnt gonna fix my problem...
I dont think its just that he hates his bassinett as much as he wants me to hol him... since the walls are up...did he still know he was there with you?

Re: Does anyone have this?
As he got older he knew Mommy & Daddy were there, I would hear him wake up and I would open one eye and he'd be looking at me and then he would lay his head down and fall back asleep.

Re: Does anyone have this?
We got it and ended up returning it. Christopher absolutely hated it, but all babies are different. The reason he liked sleeping on me or near me was because he liked feeling me and my warmth. This kind of prevents that.

Re: Does anyone have this?
I got it and returned it. I never used it or tried it though. But my baby slept in his bassinet in my room at night so I felt there was no need and I think the size limit was small so I figured it wasn't worth it later on - once he was out of the bassinet. Now he is in my bed after 4am but he started this after he was 5 months old.

Re: Does anyone have this?
We have it and I really like it. Logan sleeps well in his bassinett through the night (in the miracle blanket) but once 6 am comes around he is UP..........When DH goes to work, I take him out of his miracle blanket and put him on my bed in this on his stomach (he LOVES sleeping on his stomach but I won't let him through the night, only for naps when I can keep an eye on him) and we get another couple hours of sleep

Re: Does anyone have this?
I just put it away. My 7 week old hated his bassinet so we got this so we coud get some sleep. I did not feel too safe using. One night i woke up and found my arm across his face. then the other night we put him in it swaddled and he woke me up with his feet on my belly and his head by his dad. I have a firm mattress but it shifts around. So i panicked and put it away, back to suffering and waiting tiill he is snoring to put him in the bassinet.

Yes. It was a terribly tight squeeze. I felt like I was falling off the bed the one week we tried it.

We have a king and it has cramped our style so I personally couldn't imagine using it in a Queen but then again we aren't small people so that might have a lot to do with it.
