help....
I teach preschool and we are having a travel week....the children are going to "Spain" on one of the days.....does anyone know an easy dessert or food that the kids can make that represents Spain? Any suggestions are appreciated....fyi...the children are all special ed....so it would help to be quick as well.... TIA....

we used to do spanish culture day in middle school and high school and would make easy stuff. i know someone usually brought in non alcoholic sangria ( made with grape juice). that might be fun to do with the kids as a drink. you could cut up the fruit ahead of time and have them put the peices into the grape juice. theres also Flan ( like a pudding cake kind of thing), but not sure how involved that is to make....

You can buy ready-to-make flan near the Jell-O section in the supermarket. All you need is milk and a stove.
