adventure spa palace vs excellence riviera cancun
DH and I are stuck between these two places. Anyone have feedback on either? We are looking for a romantic relaxing vacation, good food, privacy, ect....

Haven't been to the Aventura but I haev stayed at one of their other hotels- the Moon Palace and it was amazing! I definetly recommend any of the Palace Resorts!!

I looked into both of those also and actually ended up deciding on Aventura Spa Palace because the excursions they offered (to Tulum, Chitchen Itza, snorkeling, etc) were included in the price and also because we had the option of checking out their other resorts too.
ETA: I was happy with our decision!

Good choice! We went there on our honeymoon. It is wonderful! Adventura is'nt in Cancun though, it's a about 45 minutes south of the airport in the Mayan Riviera. Make sure you have some Miami Vices for me! When are you going? We went in June.
ETA: XPuHa (sp?) is one of the Palace resorts we visited. GREAT BEACH! One warning though- if you go on the jungle tour wear bug spray!

we went to Secrets Excellence on our HM and were VERY happy with everything...the resort was beautiful, the staff went above and beyond our expectations...we had dinner on the beach, a couples massage which was all included 24/7 room service all included...there was several restuarants on the resort, which was great...and they had daily excursions to wherever you wanted to go....DH and I went swimming with the dolphins and did horseback riding on the beach...
Highly recommend it!

I looked into both for our trip in October and we decided on Excellence. They both had good reviews, but I heard better things about Excellence so we went with that one.
