I always wonder this too! I feel like whenever I'm in there they are pushing a certain product

I wouldn't doubt it. just like most other salespeople, they have incentives for selling certain things.

Um, I don't think so. They are very similar to Ulta and while we were always pushing certain brands, we did not get paid to do so. There are some incentives from companies that sell their products there (such as free products ) but not money. Unless it has changed.
