Going to Chicago tomorrow

DH and I are leaving for Chicago tomorrow! I am very excited...this will be our 2nd time there, but the first time DH was at a work conference so we did not get to do much together and since we would have dinners with the group we did not get to go to different restaurants... SOOO, now we are visiting my BIL (Dhs brother)- we are staying with him...

BUT does anyone have any restaurant recs? BIL moved there recently so not sure how much he really got to see and do yet!

My Dad goes there on business every other week, he loves that city. There is supposed to be a really good deli that has huge sandwiches, but I can't think of the name. Check food network, Rachel Rays Tasty Travels or 40 Dollars a day, I saw it on one of her shows!

charlie trotter's is world renowned, but very $$$ and need reservations in advance...

my faves are---

mirai sushi (japanese)

lou malnati's or giordano's (chicago-style pizza)

klay oven (indian)

many good restaurants in greektown

maza (middle eastern)

cafe iberico (tapas)

calypso cafe---hyde park (jamaican)

A friend of mine recommended webers grill in downtown - said it was phenomenal (sp). I am going to Chicago in a couple of weeks myself
