please help me

i know this may be silly, but i have a bird that seems to be injured in my backyard nestled in a corner. i am going on vacation tomorrow and don't want to leave the bird where it is for it's own safety. what can i do???

Put it in a shoebox and take it a wildlife veterinarian. They will usually take them free of charge.
Call around in your area.
If you have problems or are afraid to touch the bird...use a washcloth to pick it up.

There are people who will take care of it. The Selden emergency hospital takes wildlife. Ther is also someone in Smithtown I think from a park who will pick them up. If he is hopping around with fur I would leave him though. Are you sure he's hurt? I just went throug this like a month ago. You can search for my thread with lots of helpful info! Chat Icon
