This involves tipping......
But I'm not sure if it belongs on the Pets Board or not?? Because it involves grooming YET it also involves what to tip??  Hmmmm...
Anyway, if it gets moved then I'll know for the future! 
Those who gets dogs or cats (or any animal for that matter) groomed-- do you TIP your groomer at all??
I mean, mine charges like 40-45 bucks-- and tells me my total-- there's no tip "jar" or sign that says they are appreciated... I'm BIG on tipping when you are supposed to but I honestly never knew you were supposed to tip a groomer-- so, are you??
A friend asked me what I tip mine and I was like  So, she said "oh you don't tip??"  Now I feel cheap! Help!

Beth! Poor cat...let the cat groom himself/herself!
I had my cats groomed when they were very little and were pooping all over themselves. I never tipped either.

I've always tipped. $3-6 usually.
Our dog just gets a bath, brush and nail trim. No fur trimming. She's a super easy-going dog. If I had a more difficult animal or needed fur trimming, I'd probably tip more.

I actually think it depends on the cat. Like, my Mom has two cats and for YEARS they would spit up hairballs every single day-- and they were always shedding and they would get very hot in the summer. Then, she started getting them shaved (they shave them all down except their heads and paws). WELL! Not only did it make the house cleaner, the air quality better-- but the cats were SO much happier!!!
They have not spit up a hairball since we have had them shaved (they go about once every two months) and they never really shed anymore! They are so much more comfortable in the summer and you can tell- it's like they are happier!
Very bizarre- I thought they would hate it... but no, probably b/c of the spitting up-- They used to throw up DAILY and now- not in years! Who would have thought?!

Thanks everyone...
I feel awful b/c I have not been tipping so I owe my groomer an apology and I will give her an extra good tip next time to make up for it.
I can't believe it- I'm normally so "on" about tipping.

YES! I have noticed that since the cats have been going-- they "prance" when they get home
Charlotte does a "prance" too... We call it her 'show dog walk' hahaha!
