Highlight help
I have had highlights for the past 7 years or so and in June, decided to go back to my natural color (dark chestnut brown).
I hate it.
I'm going to get my highlights back this evening, but am trying out a new place. I want to bring a picture to show her what I want. I used to get then semi thin to make it look more "natural", but I think I want to go chunkier this time.
Anyone have any pics of chunky highlights
Thanks!

Re: Highlight help
I don't know...I think chunks are out but if it's what you want, then by all means....
I know, though...I went back to my dark hair. In some places, my former blond lights do show up a light brown but I kinda miss the lights, too. Maybe do low and highlights? (And I'm sorry; you're not asking on chunk opinions you're asking for photos...I'm being a bad poster)
PS: I LOVE your house; so charming

I know, that's what I thought also, but I wanted to do something that showed up just a bit more than what I had had previously. Maybe "chunky" isn't the word I'm looking for?
I thought I would love finally having all one hair color again, and, yea, the old highlights are starting to peek through, but I just don't feel pretty with one color hair (does that sound conceited? )
I just want something that's a bit more noticeable.
(thanks for the house compliment, btw )

Re: Highlight help
no! I don't feel pretty, either! LOL! But DH seems to love this hair color, and I honestly hate spending so much on highlights...
Maybe just tell her to weave in some thin AND thick highlights. Maybe she can thicken out a section. Be careful saying "chunk" b/c she might give you scunk highlights! Highlights are pretty; they create texture.

Re: Highlight help
I found these....
I think you should ask for heavy highlites instead of chunky --maybe that would lighten it up ?
