If you see a personal trainer, can you tell me how many times a week you see them, and for how long. Also, what is the average rate? Thanks!

i see my PT 1x per week for 1 hour.
it's $350 for 10 1-hour sessions.

i live in NJ and she works in the YMCA i go to for my regular gym.
If you live near Metuchen, NJ, that is the price for all trainers that work at the Y.
Since you probably live in LI, call your local YMCA or YMYWHA and see if they have personal trainers, they might be cheaper than going through a regular gym.

i dont think you have to be a member to use the PT services, since it's an additional charge.
but a phone call never hurts!
