nycdoe issues already!
Has anyone had issues where they haven't received a postcard to verify that the DOE received something. I hand delivered my paperwork for salary step and differentials and of course I never got a post card.. they said they have everything and the post card was sent out two days later.. but I never got anything. They won't send another because it's computer generated. I don't trust them and I want to have it for my records. What do I do now??

Can they email or fax a copy of what they are looking at? If it's in their computer database, it shouldn't be hard to verify.

did you make copies of everything before handing it in, if so i wouldn't worry too much,
that was the first thing i was told, make copies of everything

I did make copies... but I'm still worried.. I really don't trust them. I'm going to call again tomorrow.. maybe I'll get someone a little more helpful.. but I'm not holding my breath.

It's good you made copies... i made copies of everything with them... because they usually screw it up

i no longer work for the BOE, but i don't recall not being paid on time... they had me in the system even though i was hired in late August. it was proabably late September at the latest when i got my first check
