Best cardio for toning butt and legs?
I'm thinking the answer is either running or walking at an incline, but just want to see what else you all have found effective.

I work out on the stairmaster and I find that to be effective. You should also try squats and lunges.

Yup, walking (or running) on an incline is one of the best cardio workouts for the glutes. Also spinning is really good.

Thanks for the advice! I've started running, and keep telling myself to take a spinning class, but that means dragging myself out of bed at 6 am 
But, I'm going to do it. Question - my gym offers spinning classes that are an hour long. I haven't done spinning in a while, so am worried it may be too intense. Is an hour long class way too much for a beginner??

You set your own resistance, so just don't crazy for the first class so you'll be able to walk the next day.  But after the first few classes definitely continue to challenge yourself otherwise you won't be benefitting as much as you could be.
