How much money needed AT the parks? Universal/Magic Kingdom

We are doing a day at each- will most likely be there all day. How much spending money do you think we will need for food/drinks/snacks? Just trying to figure out how much to bring with us! Thanks!

I had a friend just get back from there. If you are staying on Disney property then get the meal plan. She said it was a good deal. When we went a couple of years ago we probably spent $50-60 per day on food. Disney is really good at marketing their products so just be aware of what you are buying and that could save you money. Universal boulevard, about 5 minutes away from Universal Studios has tons of the same shops at 1/2 the price of the parks.

If we take the cheap route, as a couple we spend about $50 per day on food and drinks. Then of coursse you might want some souvenirs, or it may rain and you'll need a poncho, so add extra. Souvenirs can vary widely. I think on our first trip we spent well over $500 on souvenirs, we don't do that anymore!
