New Hope, PA anyone?
So DH and I are thinking about trying to get away for a short weekend. Possibly a Thursday-Sunday.
Someone recommended New Hope, PA and just wanted some thoughts/opinions.
What's around to do, what type of atmosphere is it, is it pricey, etc...

I went several years ago with my family
we stayed at a small hotel just on the outskirts on New Hope.
There are tons of cutes shops, a lot of antique shops, resturaunts.
There is also a great bike path where you can bring your bikes and ride during the day.

i went many times with my parents and i keep telling dh we have to go sometime for a weekend.
i always loved the shops at the Peddlers Village.
my parents and I always used to go to plays at the Bucks County Playhouse. It's not Broadway by a long shot but i always enjoyed it. i'm pretty sure they have a website you can google.
i'm think there are also wineries in the area, i'm sorry i don't have any names though. i remember going to one on a trip there years ago.

my coworker actually just suggested this place to me a couple of days ago... he got engaged there..stayed at a really nice b and b http://highlandfarmbb.com/index.htm
it is owned by the man who wrote "oklahoma" ...he also suggested a restraunt in town called odette's (very pretty place on the water) Image Attachment(s):

My ILs go there all the time with their friends. They really love it. They've said that there are a ton of cute restaurants, some with live music.
