Re: What can i bring...
A fruit platter is always a good summer dessert. Maybe with some of the lowfat fruit dips too.
Ralphs sells quarts of ices that you can bring also.

Re: What can i bring...
We have been making this ww pie at home recently and it is so good!
Mix together a box of SF Jello w/ 1/4 cup boiling water, stir in two WW Yogurts (the same flavor as the Jello) and one tub of FF Cool Whip. Pour into a reduced fat graham shell and refrigerate. The lime flavor is really good.

Re: What can i bring...
What about strawberry "shortcake" with angel food cake and cool whip?
or Low-fat Fruit Pizza (you can use any fruits)

Re: What can i bring...
Bringing a fruit platter is a great low fat way to go.
I make this "dip" for the fruit with fat free cool whip and fat free yogurt, just get a container of each and mix. It's delish!!!
For the yogurt, I'm partial to either vanilla, strawberry or pineapple.

Re: What can i bring...
Considering you want lowfat and it is summer I would either do a strawberry shortcake (nice & light) or a banana cream pudding pie. I just brought one to a bbq last week and they devoured it! Plus it is so easy to make; very yummy!

Re: What can i bring...
Mrsnypdsgirl posted this...I love it!! It could be dessert or appetizer..
One of my neighbors brought this to my house over the weekend as an appetizer and it was SO good! I think it would be especially good in the summer, too! Low Fat and satisfies the sweet cravings
Salsa Ingredients 2 apples, cored, peeled, and diced 2 kiwi, peeled and diced 1 cup strawberries, diced 1/2 cup orange juice 1 orange, zest of 2 tablespoons brown sugar, packed 2 tablespoons apple jelly or 2 teaspoons lime juice (depending if you want it sweet or tangy)
Chip ingredients (OR YOU CAN BUY STACY'S CINNAMON SUGAR PITA CHIPS INSTEAD OF MAKING YOUR OWN) 10 1/2 ounces flour tortillas, cut in triangles 1/2 cup sugar, to taste A few TSP of cinnamon, to taste
Combine apples, kiwi, strawberries, orange juice, zest, brown sugar, and apple jelly / lime juice together. Cover and refrigerate.
Place the tortilla wedges on a non greased baking sheet and sprinkle lightly first with water and then with desired amount of cinnamon and sugar. Bake the tortilla wedges at 325 degrees until warm.
Remove from oven and let cool.
Serve with fruit salsa.

Re: What can i bring...
A trifle is good this time of year with angel food cake or pound cake, strawberries, blueberries etc and cool whip.
