Yanks v Jays- Explain please
So it's the third inning, two bench clearinjgs and the umps give out their stern warning. Ok nothing new there.
How come, in the top of the Sixth, Cano, gets (questionably) HBP (although questionsable or not, it is officially recorded as HBP) why does the pitcher (Tallet) not get tossed but in the same inning, Clemens does?
I thought once warnings were out ANY pitcjer that hit a batter (plus manager) gets tossed?
I must be misinterpreting the rule or confused somehow, anyone care to explain?

No, you explained it perfectly. Once both benches have been warned, if a pitcher hits a player that pitcher and the manager are tossed.
I don't know why Clemmens got the boot but the other pitcher didn't... but it was great and we all knew it was coming (Clemmens hitting the guy on purpose) and then Clemmens starts arguing that he was just trying to pitch inside... OK buddy, I'm a Yankees fan but that was clearly intentional... bravo to you though!

Ok just chcking. I think I am more bothered that I haven't really seen anyone commenting on it.
Sports news is too busy talking (ad naseaum) about Bonds.
