retaining water

I dont know what is going on. i'm not eating a lot of salt, but every morning my figures swell so bad, that i can barely get my rings on.

this morning, they were so bad that i couldnt get them on at all. i had to take them to work instead.

what can this be from?

Thanks!

Re: retaining water

I think humidity/heat may have something to do with it.

I have noticed my always rings fit better in the winter then the summer!

Re: retaining water

drink some warm water with lemon. That always helps me get rid of that excess water.

Re: retaining water

My hands and feet have been swelling everyday. Feet are only fitting in flip flops or open sandles and wedding rings couldnt come off if I wanted them off. I do think it has to do with the humidty and the weather

You also retain water when you don't drink enough water. Drink more water and your body will stop holding on to your current water supply.

Re: retaining water

I definately think its the summer humidity. Also sometimes we eat things that are high in salt that we dont realize (ex- I didnt know that a slice of pizza has the same amount of sodium as chinese food)

Re: retaining water

I have been too. I bet it is the heat!

I did a search online and found a book called the "Waterfall Diet" It tells you what foods to eat to lose up to 15 lbs of water weight. I have been thinking of ordering the book. But you have to get it from the UK. Just seems to good to be true.
