This really might sound....
lame. But Dh wants to go on a cruise in May. (well, I want to go too) We have the money to go. May have to save up for money to spend while on the cruise but all and all this is affordable and etc. So, why am I hesitate about doing this?
Why is it when it is "fun" I feel like nooo we should save our money just in case we need it for an emergency? I wish I was not like this. We both love to cruise and this will be our third one. We try to go every other year since we got married in 04. This is our off year which we usually go visit my family and we did. It is kinda like our Anniversary presents and this one is re doing our HM cruise. And frankly adding up the cost, we spent about $500.00 less visiting family then what this cruise will cost us.
So, I should just book it and look forward to next May, right?!?!

 We probably wouldn't go if it would deplete our emergency funds. We save up at least a few months' mortgage and expenses to save for emergencies, and we don't touch that. I don't think it's lame, I think it's rational.

Thanks girls. We definitley can save for it. ANd even if we paid for it in full today, we would not be depleting our savings account. Believe me, I can not live like that. SO, really no worries except for the fact that I LOVE TO WORRY. DH and I will talk about his more, tonight. We try and take one vacation a year. THe rest of the year are pretty frugal...

Thanks everyone. Yes, I think we are going to book it this weekend. Ultimately, the problem I have is spending money. I would rather see it in our accounts growing, but we need the vacation time together, as well.
